When I go do meetings, I love ripping down walls people have put up. I imagine myself setting in a chair out there, 19 months ago, before AdvoCare, and imagine all the thoughts Id be having, from the outside looking in. I always touch on 3 things. #1. I dont have enough time- To these people I ask them a simple question, if you dont have enough time now, then lets think about 5 years from now, will you still be running crazy? If you dont do something different, to CREATE time, you wont have time 5 years from now either. The beauty is you can do this on your own time, I have a friend that has 3 kids, full time job, started AdvoCare 15 months ago, he now makes over $100k a yr with AdvoCare, he will be a homeroom dad next year, no Alarm Clock, I built AdvoCare as a full time teacher and coach, on my own time. He couldnt have made $100k a year 10 years from now at his current job, not possible. #2. Im not a Salesperson- Remember friends, people on the outside, they think we walk around, knock on doors, and ask people if they would like to buy Spark, they think we flip through a phonebook and call people, give me a break lol, if I had to do that cheesy stuff Id still be a coach. They also think its mandatory that you blow up Facebook, and are afraid of loosing cool points, the fact is I got plenty of friends who never post on Facebook and do awesome with AdvoCare, its word of mouth, its about getting others and yourself on products and stories developing. You tell someone about a good movie, or a good restaurant, well you dont get paid for that, I tell someone about something I genuinely like, or share a story of a friend, I get paid for it. Im a coach, not a salesperson. Energy is the new oil, we are on television, we arent some company that started yesterday, people are out of shape, people need income, look at the economy, we provide a solution there too, its not rocket surgery. #3. Its a Pyramid- LOL, love this one. Ok, the person who tells you that, their job is probably a Pyramid. See, my job was, no matter how hard I worked, the guy who was over me, the Principal, was always going to make more then me. I busted my rear 11 years as a coach, I could work hard as I wanted every day in the classroom, the guy in the next class could show movies, we get the same paycheck. I was SICK of not being challenged, in AdvoCare, you are rewarded for the effort you put in and you arent CAPPED. I make THRE TTIMES AS MUCH a month as the lady who got me into AdvoCare. Pyramids are ILLEGAL, Im pretty sure we wouldnt be on National Television and in every NFL locker room if it was some kind of malarkey, we have the BEST pay plan in America. This is PRODUCT DRIVEN, people buy, consume products, people like our products, including Jason Witten, Olympians, etc. I loved it when that guy pretty high in Construction heard I make about $25k a month, he said,Ah ya well its one them pyramid thangs ( As he spit his snuff out). Now, they teach us dont roll in the mud with pigs because they like it, but Im an ole coach, and competitive, I said,Oh really now, one of them thangs huh!? I said,So you got guys that lay brick for you dont you?? He said,Yep, with his chest poked out, all proud. I said,Well, if those guys work hard enough, could they ever make more $ then you? He said,Nope, chest all poked out, took another spit. I looked at him dead in the eyes and said,Sounds like a Pyramid to me! Then I made it clear to him, in this, he could come in RIGHT NOW and surpass me, that you are rewarded for the effort you put in, you arent told this is what you make and thats it. I told him I couldve coached 20 more years and NEVER made more then the Principal no matter what. At the end he said,Ya but, but uh, but, that lady that got you in still makes some $ off of you. LOL, I tell him,Who cares, I dont have an alarm clock anymore thanks to her!! I have friends quitting jobs because she opened her mouth to me and thanks to AdvoCare!, Id still be in the class, driving my banged up 02 Chevy! I said,So when that house is built, do you get a big ole check after those hard working guys did all that work, do you make $ off their efforts? He said Yep, so I told him well there ya go, accept the difference is they can never earn more then you no matter what. I think he still buys Spark from me, I had to unwind all the crud thats been wrapped around his brain by Broke Uncle Bob since he was 5.
