When I joined this group I was under the impression that it was a Writing Group. I thought it was a place to find support, encouragement, instruction and guidance in writing and creativity. But, this morning, I see that it is not that at all. With all the rude, disrespectful, and downright filthy comments, I realize that it is merely a place of brutality and bashing. In light of all of the mean spirited comments, I have decided to leave this group. It saddens me to have to do so, but, I choose not to be a part of such a negative, hostile group. As a writer it is my goal to encourage and inspire people....not to tear them down.
