When I lost my son over a year ago, I lost my will, and my heart was crushed. That will never change. The steps through the grieving process is different with each person. I have the experience of all losses, except the loss of a husband, and I hope I never have to go through that. My mother lost her mother, father, husband and 2 sons. She was the strongest person I have ever known. She told me, when you lose a child, you will never be the same. There is no other death that can compare. You carry that pain till the day you die, and she did. I dont know if my steps have brought me to honoring him in different ways. Or the fact, that the Holidays are here. Or, I am trying to hold on to his memory....
