When I was a kid, it was a family ritual to go to the local stationery store after church on Sunday. My father would pick up the Sunday New York Times, and each of us kids was allowed to pick out a candy bar. Sunday Candy was a fixture of my childhood. It isnt anymore, of course. However, while TNBIM generally goes to work without eating -- toting leftovers for lunch -- on Sundays, since hes around, I cook bacon. Lots of bacon. Sunday Bacon beats Sunday Candy, hands down.
