When I was a toddler my mother used to listen to a lot of Jim - TopicsExpress

When I was a toddler my mother used to listen to a lot of Jim Reeves (which meant I did too). Last week, as I was listening to the songs that reached the Top 40 in 1971, three Jim Reeves songs came on: I Love You Because, Hell Have to Go and Moonlight & Roses. These three tracks were issued on a single on RCA (Maxmillion 2092) and entered the UK Top 40 on 3 July 1971 and peaked at No.34. Jim Reeves was very popular. He had a record-breaking eight albums simultaneously in the UK chart three months after his death (he died 31 July 1964). He had a lovely voice. See if you agree. Heres I Love You Because, my mothers favourite Jim Reeves track: youtu.be/qit_HikDGxU
