When I woke up this morning, I received a message from hubby: You are a blessing to me and to the kids... When I got home early this afternoon, my daughter just arrived from school... Kaluja: Mommy, what is that you are holding? Me: Oh, I just bought a small gift for myself... Kaluja: What?... Why do you need to buy a gift for yourself on your birthday? Me (jokingly): Because I havent received a gift yet... Kaluja: You should have waited for my surprise... Kaluja came closer to me and said again: This is my surprise gift... (giving me a long and very tight hug). When Kaluji got home too, he immediately looked for me and gave me a kiss and said: Happy birthday, Mommy. When I opened my FB, I read meaningful messages from my mother and sister and greetings from relatives, friends and classmates... Oh my, THESE WERE MY BEST GIFT EVER... Thank you Lord for making me a better person that I can be (as a wife/partner, as a mother, as a daughter and the youngest sister in the family, and as a friend). I may not be the best, but your leading made me the way I am today.
