When The President Become Deity Leadership is a mono-goal - TopicsExpress

When The President Become Deity Leadership is a mono-goal adventure. It assimilates one dialect; that is success. it has no excuses among its allocations nor is failure one of its characteristics. It is accompanied with a default condition, in sensitive climes; when you succeed, you proceed, and when fail, you will derail. As a leader, you’ll automatically inherit the misadventure of your predecessor. There won’t be enough crutches in the world for all the lame excuses afterwards, because excuses are the nails used to build a house of failure. It is just a matter of time for such a castle to fall like pack of cards. Leadership, just like life, is no under obligation to give you what you expect. You have to create your expectations, you will have to carve a niche for yourself. The least of such that is envisaged is to unburden oneself amidst failure by resigning, this still occur in saner climes. Ours is a type that you only resign to seek higher responsibility on failed/false achievements. I shudder! The president worse undoing till date remains the continual clinging of his media team despite their monumental and incessant mischief. Worst still is his incapability to decipher and filter the advises he receives in the sieve of his consciousness. These are supposed SAs and PAs working for the president, while in reality, they are working against him. The cardinal principle upon which the offices is created were since bastardised. What matters most to them is to maintain the free flow of crumbs to their table while they remain unperturbed with the bucks of responsibility that piles the table of the president. No nation will fare above Tahiti with a leader that assembles a charade of mischief makers competing with each other on setting a new low of indolency to appease the “gods” Ebele. Men that either refused to bring the attention of their paymaster or crudely advised him not to yield to yet another conspiracy aimed at detracting a Goodluck that is running short of goodwill with the abduction of 200+ school girls in Chibok until after 19days and a merriment at the palace of Alaafin of Oyo. Men that never tutored their principal on where Gwoza is located. Men that never tell the president the true reality of the people dwelling in North East amidst one of the world most dreaded terrorist group. These cap the gory tales of citizens that have to adjust, adapt and be acquainted with a man ordained by God to head the ship of the nation state to the rocks, just because he was to the lost sheep of Nigerians. Recently, the president handlers took the tide sacrilege a bit far, a dimension that is palpable, abhorrent and at the same time laughable. The citizens are now made to understand who is behind their freedom of expression; either out of joy or grief. After a reduced territory to the activities of insurgents, monumental corruption, a plummeted economy and a sharp reduction in power supply while we pay more for darkness; credit and gratitude must be endless to the president, after all, if he didn’t fulfil all the vain promises of 2011 election, at least he’s allowed us to lament over the plights freely, there is freedom of speech they are singing, but there is no freedom after speech. Former Adamawa state governor, Rtd. Admiral Murtala Nyako can attest to that for the memo he released sometimes in faraway America. The illegal detention of Isiaka Yakubu Onimisi during Boko Haram jail break in Abuja by the SSS is still fresh in our memory. Mallam Nasir El-Rufai’s detention during Anambra poll is not far-fetched. Madam Oby Ezekwesili is still being demonised for being a voice for the voiceless #ChibokGirls, she had been delayed at the airport recently in one of her trip to the UK, among others. It is not new in the annals of history that humanity are sometimes revered or being leveraged away from mortal to immortal. The people of Ghana do converge in old Gold-Coast symbol to chant the name of Kwame Nkrumah even after his demise for being a visionary leader and a Pan-Afrikanist this continent has missed. Dr Kwame Nkrumah was a patriot, he was no looter of the state resources nor cared about ex-gratias. He did not have any swiss account or any other account for that matter. He died a poor man. In india, the tales is not different. Recently, the 66th death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi was marked and they felt his teachings should be practised instead of the “current craze” of naming public places after a leader. Gandhi had died for the cause of religious harmony and wa assassinated by Nathuram Godse on 30 January 1948 in Delhi. The long wait for Nigeria’s leadership idol was put to end. There was Jesus Christ of Nazareth and there is Jesus Not Christ of Otueke. He didn’t come to make peace, but to hunt his enemies. He didn’t come to preserve the excess crude account, but to deplete it to the lowest. He didn’t come to take responsibility, but to blame the opposition for his weaknesses. He didn’t come to fight corruption, but to institutionalised it. He is crucified on the cross of conspiracy theory. He carries our burden on a new private jets proposal and a whooping sum of N2billion for food and kitchen items. Nobody will go to the president except through corruption. This brings to the fact that leaders become god for either tyranny or justice. Be wise enough to fathom out which place Doyin’s lord, Aso Rock’s lord belongs to. May God have mercy on us.
