When a legislator introduces legislation, he or she should have at least a basic knowledge about the subject matter. Furthermore, a barrel shroud and a folding stock (if thats what the honorable congresswoman is talking about) have nothing whatsoever to do with how safe, unsafe, how deadly, or how efficient a weapon is. They are, for the most part, cosmetic, and legislation that controls them is pointless. There are moderate, sensible solutions to the problems of crime and violence in this country.
