When an apple doesnt fall from the tree! Puré ignorance... my Son and his friend have been volunteering during this campaign season.... Today, they were told (if they dont go to college, they should make heart shaped leaves as their career and sell them under the bridge or a board walk....) All because they were making them while they sat at The Temple Terrace election site waiting for voters to come over. The above was told to John, Zonte and Barbara Twine-Thomas niece.... BY Alison McGillvray-Fernandezs mother. Pure ignorance. If one knows that ones mother isnt Latina and is not culturally competent; then keep the mother away from potential voters..... This is why voting is important! People of color and of other ethnic groups dont be fooled by a last name or by a veteran politician who needs a new gig.... Vote for a person with credentials, a business background and who is culturally competent. Is this a person we want in charge of what happens in our school district? This hit a nerve because, I can handle anything you dish out but no one will speak to my 16 year old son with such ignorance. Enough said.... I will see them at the site tomorrow.
