When i was in Zimbabwe, i did a walk about survey and a small case - TopicsExpress

When i was in Zimbabwe, i did a walk about survey and a small case study on unemployment. What i learnt is a huge contrast to what is on the ground. There are a lot of job opportunities in Zimbabwe. What is simply required is a stimulus, investors and accountability. There is almost no ambulances in Zimbabwe. Forgive me but i did not see one. Paramedics, drivers, nurses, call centre staff are all jobs that are going missing as a result. Economic crunch did play a role but this a top priority service which is now only accessible to the elite. The idea of Traffic police in Zimbabwe is ridiculous. There are no traffic cops but revenue collectors and bribe seekers. All traffic cops in Zimbabwe normally converge at roadblocks while no one attend to traffic congestion at road intersections in numerous dead robot intersections. Its a huge nightmare to drive in Harare while cops are busy harassing motorists on roadblocks seeking bribes and spot fines. The state of roads in Zimbabwe is a very sorry picture. Where are bobcats, excavators, graders and truck drivers, road maintenance staff, engineers and all those water bowser operators and tipper drivers. The only drivers you can find are kombi drivers. Just look deeper
