When it comes to yoga, some discomfort (both physically and mentally) is normal and expected. Feeling your muscles working - a bit of fire and heat - is one thing, but experiencing pain is another entirely. Ive been teaching for years and years, and the most common injuries Ive seen in yoga are from people that fail to listen to their body, let their ego take over, and push things too far. Its yoga. There is no rush.
