When my friend Valerie asked today if I had gotten in more social - TopicsExpress

When my friend Valerie asked today if I had gotten in more social time during my vacation, I explained to her I had because just yesterday, I went to court where I spoke with Prosecutor Roscheck -and- an ISP trooper named Smith who was also there, I talked at length with Mike, the seafood clerk at Fred Meyer, regarding the shrimp selection, and I discussed the pending repairs to the brake system on my CRX with Rod, who runs the automotive repair shop on Chinden we patronize. I am sure she was taken aback that I had jammed so much social time into one day, and Im a little disappointed because I completely failed to mention the BPD Detective who was watching the World Cup in the Veitz Officers Lounge while I was checking my e-mail, the few minutes I dealt with the young gal at the dry cleaner (whose name I dont know), and the brief time I chatted with two of the Chase Bank clerks, Derek and a woman who was not wearing a name tag. I really deserve the social credit for those contacts as well. All this socializing has taken its toll on me and I was forced to lie down for a nap on the couch for a few hours today. Unfortunately, I left the television on while dozing and a run of Ancient Aliens episodes came on during my slumber, so I am sure I have been subconsciously brain-washed to a mild degree by the hypnotic sound of Giorgio A. Tsoukaloss voice, and as a result I will suffer from random thoughts for the rest of the day about who built Pumapunku and why there is a conspiracy to keep cattle mutilations in Idaho unreported to Law Enforcement. If I can muster up my strength, later this evening I am going to talk to someone at the State Street Flying Pie Pizzaria when I order food and beer for delivery. Im turning into a regular social butterfly here!
