When parents learn that their child has a disability or a chronic illness, they begin a journey that takes them into a life that is often filled with strong emotion... My daughter Kaycee Wayne has been on that journey for many years. There has been trials,there has been tribulations there has been pain and there has been times were I myself dont feel the strongest in this world could go on. But through it all she has risen above. She has been a mother beyond compare. I know at times my sweet lady I dont always show it, but you will always be a champion in my eyes. You will always be my daughter and I am so very proud to call you that. Rest in the thought that you provided Shawn with a life that so many of us could not, and would not have been able to. Rest in the thought that Shawn is at peace, waiting comfortably, without pain and disability until you have the opportunity to embrace him again..... I love you sweet child, rest in peace my grandson.
