When people break up, usually one of two things happen. You either romanticize or vilify the other person. The people who hate their exes and are glad they’re out of it usually fall into the second category. Other people, people like me, idealize the one they lost. We forget all the wrongs they did us and we only remember the good times we had. We cling on to that fantasy. We can never move on as long as we keep doing that.
