When the sun is shining,and the birds are singing do I tell you thank you lord for a beautiful day?have I mention how blessed I am for the small things I often overlook that come my way?when the rain is falling and gives water to the streams,the flowers and the fowl of the air,do I take time to tell you thank you lord and whisper softly a sincere prayer?when I must face my fears and feel as though I may fight my battles alone,do I say thank you lord for in times like these is when you test my faith and make me strong?when I look into the eyes of my grandchild and he touch my soul with a great big smile,do I say thank youlord for all my family even if I dont see them but once in awhile.do I say thankthank you lord for that special someone who I know you sent to me,to care for and understand.for all those times I felt so lonely you were only teaching me how to love and be the best I can.may I alwaysbe thankful to youlord for everything I have,everything I say and everything I do.for my life and all things pertaining to it would be meaningless if it wasnt for you.
