When they think you are doomed, when it feels like the last bullet has finaly found its target, when your feet feel so out of balance, when your own know how is so irrelevant, when not even the closest of pals would realy want to nurse you even when wearing gloves, when peace sounds like a fairy story of long ago, help feels like a mirage way to far to reach, when hoping feels like a waste of mental effort, when all compass edges converge at the same point only in your world, when the smell of death and failure in stronger than that of the blood flowing in your nose veins, when tomorrow feels to far to get to, to dark to hope for, dont give up yet, look up in the sky and remember heaven is a better home to be in and he that brought you into this world will always be closer than a brother, more present than a shadow on a sunny day, a shoulder stronger than all the armies of the world put together, more loving that a newly found spouse, He is a King that serves His servants, a Teacher that washes His disciples feet, a Lord who is a friend. Nomatter how dark it feels, a simple smile from your heart riding on a breathless song of gratitude is a dish nicely prepared and served, good enough to make The King reward and transform your life, stand firm and tall, even in death, He holds you special.
