When thinking about using thermal imaging for your horse, look at the service that you are being offered. Not all thermal imaging equipment is the same. Most companies use an industrial camera which is capable of reading a wide range of temperatures and therefore are not as accurate as the cameras SyncThermology use which are medical grade meaning they only see body temperature. If the thermographer offers a report based on what they see at the time of scanning, this is not technically correct as thermography is very hard to interpret. You would not expect to see the person who takes your x-ray to tell you there and then what it shows?? You would wait for the radiologist to report on it!!
