When we free camp or stay in National Parks we bring the tourist dollar to the towns/cities around the area we are camping! It is also a great life for families and one of the cheaper ones they can have why would Government want to destroy this. They are complaining we are becoming such an obese nation, this is a great outdoor way of life and encourages exercise why would you increase prices??? Also to the Caravan Parks wishing to stop free camping, do you want your town to lose the Grey Nomad tourist dollars all because you are frightened you might lose a couple of nights fee..........what about all the travelers who will use your facilities?? Get over it and stop being so greedy, think of the big picture..... not all Grey Nomads can afford Caravan Park fees every night.. but they still stop off at the Parks every few nights to use facilities.
