When you are a product of a Jesuit School, Ateneo de Davao University for that matter, equip yourself not only with the technical learning youve had upon your subscription to your chosen field, but also the very basic Igniatian Pedagogical Paradigm: Experience, Reflection and Action. A pre-learning element of Context, and a post-learning element, Evaluation, are also necessary for the deeping of our understanding to a particular issue on hand. What this ignatian paradigm tells us is simple: that before we do an action or evaluate/comment on a certain issue, we must know the context first. Context, meaning, the real circumstance: why it happened, the social situation or the triggering point. Any issue, after all, cannot be just pin-pointed to one cause. There must be reasons why it happened. Sa tagalog pa: Bago humusga, alamin ang pinanggalingan. This has to be true in all cases, from personal to national issues on hand. Lets be a little wise if we say we are graduates of Ateneo de Davao University, shall we?
