God has allowed for you to hear their prayer and request. This is a blessing from God and God has intrusted you to pray for their prayer request in what ever way you see fit for their well being. They did not pray for themselves. They prayed for God to take care of another one whom they love. When a person is blessed to hear a prayer request of another God is in charge and allowed this.
