When you go to sleep tonight no matter how big your worries are remember how lucky you are. At the moment ISIS - islamic fundamentalists - are tearing through Iraq displacing tens of thousands of muslims and christians alike, in a bloody fight to try and create a terrifying barbaric islamic state. They are beheading and crucifying children, raping women, forcibly circumsizing babies, burying people alive, marrying 7 year old girls, capturing and enslaving. Its like something out of the pages of history, but its not history, its now, its today, and unfortunatly for many its tomorrow too. I dont want to preach, or depress you, merely make you aware that this is happening. And its not happening to people from over there, or people you know nothing about, its happening to people of the same ethnic group as the lady who made your bespoke jewellery, or favourite cushion, the lady that sold you the welsh blanket in Cardiff, its happening to Iraqi kurds and you all know an Iraqi kurd. You all know me.
