When you live with constant pain, you kind of get used to all the minor aches and burns. But today, Im getting a bit scared because my kidney hurts like hell. If my kidney problem is back, that will delay my next operation for months because this time, theyd operate on the kidney. I miss comfort. Just being comfortable. To lie in my bed at night and just be cozy and sleepy. My operation next month takes, Im told, about 6 months to a year to heal and adjust from. Looks like comfort is on hold. (I wont take strong pain pills, and my mild pain pills arent working today.) if you believe in kharma, when this is all over, I deserve Nirvana.
