When you look around you and see that things and people and places - TopicsExpress

When you look around you and see that things and people and places are a certain way, then do you believe that all things and people and places in the world are that way. I keep reading the same comments concerning social responsibility and personal responsibility. People have a fear that some one is going to get something that they are not, or that someone is going to get away with something that they can not get away with. There is a genuine cynicism about other people. People distrust other people, Government, Science, Religion etc... There really are no universal sacred institutions, not even family or community. Not even humanity. It does not surprise me that those who struggle would distrust and feel great disdain for the opportunity to better themselves or their collectives, both in the Macro and Microcosm, when that opportunity is established by the government or when they have not struggled hard to obtain that opportunity, and as they watch individuals that they feel are less deserving receive the same benefits that they do. They simply do not understand the concept of social and personal responsibility. They only understand their sacrosanct distrust of other people and their struggle for limited resources. I have no words to penetrate that. It is a primal instinct. I have no words or politics or methods to penetrate that. Only when an individual stops struggling against their own humanity do they truly feel enculturated back into the earth and flesh that we all are, and realize that we have more than enough resources for everyone and that we need not fight or fret over the resources or habits of the other. Only when the human experience becomes sacred can we feel apart of the Human collective and stop struggling. The world is not out to get you, but when you fight for resources you are out to get each other. When you have the opportunity for betterment but you refuse it because it will benefit everyone around you, you are the obstacle in your own way. I have healthcare. My greatest wish is that you all have it too. I have food and shelter and clothes and comfort. My greatest wish is that you all have it too. I really have no other words. And it seems that words will never be enough to penetrate fear and ignorance and confusion.
