When you look at you do you like you?? This is a secular song, however packs a powerful message. At first listen I wept. For most of my life I have been and done everything to please other people to be accepted and loved or to fit in. A people pleaser to the core, but in that I lost myself. In the past 6 months i have to say through much pain and struggle I have come to know Christ in a deeper way mainly through listening to Joseph Prince ministries, and his message of grace, and in that have really come to know, love and accept me for who I am with all my peculiarities, and with my head held high (not in pride) I can say that I celebrate with God who He has created me to be!!! And I not only like me, I love me and for the first time in my life i could care less what other people think about me. I wouldnt trade all the trauma I have suffered (and certainly wouldnt want to repeat it,) for anything in this world because God has used all of it, not one pain was wasted, to make me the person I am today. 2015 is going to be a great year. There will be more changes for certain because change is certain! I make no apologies for who God has made me, and I can no longer fit into mans mold for me. God told me clearly that He did not call me to fit in but to stand out!!! I encourage you in this 2015 take a look inside, do you like you? Do you love who God created? Take the make up off, let your hair down,and lets get to the core of who we are in God, the Righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, forgiven, free, and fully accepted by God, Chosen before the foundation of the world. He Loves you!!! and so do I.
