Whether you are rich or poor - you should read the comments on the original story by clicking through to the WMTW story page. You should do it to have a better understanding of the truly destructive nature of Class Warfare all the way around. We may never overcome the challenges we face if cant find a way to peacefully disagree, and start by first agreeing on the problems we need to fix in this country. The health care system is broken, and it doesnt matter who broke it. Lets stop fighting about whose ideas are better, and find some that actually work by agreeing to treat each other with some common decency. Solving any problem which is highly contentious generally means mutual compromise. It means everyone wont get everything they want. In this case it means Dems are unlikely to get universal health care anytime soon, and the Reps are unlikely to repeal Obamacare. It means we need to either find a way to make Obamacare work, or we need to leave it in place until an actual working congressional, legislative, and judicial branch of government are installed who are prepared to ACT to fix things that are broken as opposed to jockeying for position on every political issue. Every American has the power to positively effect change by voting issues on individual merits instead of on party lines ... and by allowing for the small possibility that each of us actually has no idea what anyone elses lot is in life. We should help those who cant help themselves, and we should do so by helping them become self-sufficient with actual working welfare policies that incorporate all the best ideas of both Dems and Reps that CAN work. The United States of America should be a world leader - the way we have for the past 200+ years, yet we sit on the precipice of being reduced to third world country status because our elected officials always miss the forest for the trees. Or is it us missing the forest? Our inability to move past personal differences to make positive policy decisions locks us in a perpetual cycle of (ANYONE vs. ANYONE) - ensuring there are plenty of problems for the next (congress/supreme court/president) to paw over. --> The Middle
