Whew...we made it...Happy 2015! The New Years Eve party at Collier Lanes in Oxford was a rousing success and a good time was had by all. I had enough of the current hits to keep the young folks happy and was able to mix in the great party songs of years gone by. Heres a favorite of mine by singer/songwriter F.R. David who was born on January 1, 1954. Born Robert Fitoussi in Tunisia, Africa and raised in Paris, France, Words only reached #62 on Billboard in the summer of 1983. It shoulda been a much bigger hit. Happy 61st birthday to F.R. David and again, HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU! ☺
