While at a dance convention with my daughter and one of her friends this weekend in Houston, our food was an hour or more late. While my kids started to get agitated because they were hungry, I explained that it was not right to get aggravated and we must handle ourselves as if our one interaction with someone would be the only look and knowledge of Jesus they may ever have. After talking to them and stating a scripture, my daughters friends said thats in Phillipians! When I heard this it caught me off guard. I asked her at that point about her faith and where she attended church. She proceeded to tell me numerous places and told me she gets up early every morning and spends time with The Lord in His Word! Needless to say that we had a much longer discussion at this point, but the faith that this 13 year old child has and her dedication to it, really impressed me. Her parents have done a great job raising her and God has something special planned for this child. I ask you who read this to pray for her and her family and that God protects her and her family from any arrows and attacks of the enemy. I pray that my kids would have more friends just like her!!!! I wont mention your name here for privacy for you and your parents, but God has great things in store for you! God bless you and your family! I wish we all had the faith this little girl showed me this weekend!!!!!!! By the way, we were the only people in the restaurant we knew of who they gave their food even after we asked them to let us pay for it. Please notice the little things God does for those who love Him daily and lets not take them for granted.
