While going to Ohlone Junior College, I took the bus to get to the main campus on the hill, as it was long enough to do my reading, homework, and prewrite essays or just outlines on the trip. But I got to take a few classes at Washington High School, a rival HS to my own. It was close enough to ride my bike without a problem from my dads place on Thornton and Newark. So Id peddle and sing this whole album the whole way there and back. This song, and a few other well paced ones kept my breathing very nicely paced, and it was nothing to go the distance. The content was still all over my head, eventhough I was in college, I was still 18 and 19. The imagery was great. I still wonder how I didnt hit more things, because by the time Id get where I was going, it was like Id seen a movie. She got up, and poured herself a strong one... It took me places far away from that bee line between home and school. I travelled.
