While some may want to debate in this life, on the Day of Judgment - TopicsExpress

While some may want to debate in this life, on the Day of Judgment you will see all your life or soul works as what they really are. Not by your or other’s definition, but by Jesus’ definition, who Father God has appointed as the righteous judge on That Day. Remember in Acts 10 where God gives Peter a vision and then tells him to go to a Gentile house, the house of Cornelius the Roman Centurion? After Peter arrives he gives this awesome speech. Acts 10:34 “Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no re-specter of persons: 35 but in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. 36 The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all) 37 “That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached; 38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed (or under the rulership and control) of the devil; for God was with him (Jesus). 39 “And we are witnesses of all things which he (Jesus) did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree: 40 him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly; 41 not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead. 42 “And he (Jesus) commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he (Jesus) which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead. 43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever pisteuo/believeth in him shall receive aphesis/remission (payment unto obliteration, purging, removal and putting away) of sins.” Notice verse 42: Acts 10:42 “And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he (Jesus) which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.” That word “commanded” is not a suggestion. The good news is that the judge on that Day will be the One who already paid for those sins He is judging. Bless God; you do have a Friend in that Court! And Jesus has decreed that His definition is the current Word of God, the Bible, we now have. And that Day of Judgment will show exactly what our works are. So in that sense, that Day will be an open book test. 1 Cor 3:13 “Every mans work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every mans work of what sort it is. 14 If any mans work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any mans work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be sozo/saved; yet so as by fire [if he is born-again in Jesus].” Those works not of God, what we call evil soul, flesh or carnal works, will be destroyed and in the process you will fully learn to love righteousness and hate wickedness or iniquity, just like Jesus does. Heb 1:8 “But unto the Son he (Father God) saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. 9 Thou hast agape/loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.” This will be the result of God implementing the New Covenant in your life. Heb 10:15 “Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, 16 this is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; 17 and their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.”
