While we Hindus celebrate Janmastami, I have not forgotten that - TopicsExpress

While we Hindus celebrate Janmastami, I have not forgotten that today is Parsi New year, and wished them the best in life because they deserve THE BEST. They are the real Minority, they are a miniscule community but they have never claimed Minority Status. They have fully Amalgamated with Hindu society, like sugar in milk just like their Ancestors had promised to the Hindu King , when they fled religious persecution from the Bloodied Islamists and landed near Navsari in Gujarat. Compared to their numbers, their contribution to Indian society is immense whether it is in politics like Dadabhai Navrozi, Pherozeshah Mehta, Madame Cama, in business the Tatas and Godrej, in the arts be it Shiamak Davar or Zubin Mehta , in sports, in medicine, in scientific research like Dr Homi Bhabha, whatever be it they have made their PRESENCE felt in every field. They never screamed and abused Hindus, they never claimed that Hindus denied them their rights, they never took out Street morchas. They set up hospitals, research institutions, colleges, art galleries and in the true sense they are Parsi Nationalists. Unfortunately their numbers are Dwindling and I hope they RISE AGAIN. In their story , in their saga of 2000 years lies a message for that SECOND largest majority who are called a Minority by the secular liberals and are constantly abusing us, how a a minority can live with a majority, retain their identity and yet be peaceful and prosperous. WISHING ALL PARSIS A HAPPY NAVROZ
