Who can trust Hon. #Nabilah Naggayi Sempala any more? ========================================== It is very unbecoming that an honorable member of parliament can claim to have signed and supported a bill she thinks is oppressive to human rights as she claims for political reasons and for press cameras sake. I expect a legislator to understand the implications of signing any document and the doctrine of estoppel. Can she really claim she was indeed blind and had no true friend in this world? Otherwise from the little understanding of the law I have, she is estopped from denying her signature and she should henceforth withdraw her statement. Who is she fooling? How does she come out in a foreign land to claim how she regrets having signed the bill. Is she more accountable to the foreign press or her electorates. If she was honorable enough, she should have resigned her parliamentary position yesterday. But of course she believes that in our country, people dont matter or they dont even understand what demanding or delivering accountability means. The big question now is, how can we trust all her past, present and future legislative and other public actions after openly confessing to being double faced?. Could her current utterances on the Anti-gay bill also be motivated by a certain hidden political agenda?. How can we even trust what she just told the American press?. Ugandans surely deserve better than what leaders like Nabilah are offering. Let her confess all her past politically right but consciously wrong actions and resign in public interest.
