Who food preps for the week ahead on Sundays? Any other day? Do you prep meals, snacks or both? What meals do you prep for and do you do them for a week or just a few days at a time? I prep some foods for the week, some for just a few days. I usually prep snacks and lunches to take to work. I save a ton of money by not eating out every day and havent had fast food for several months now...which are both wins! It doesnt take a lot of time or money. Just sit down for a few minutes, think about what you like in fruits, veggies, nuts, eggs (your best friend for snacks or meals), dark chocolate, etc. My favorite snack is a small, crisp, sweet apple thinly sliced, few small slices of cheese (I like white Vermont cheddar) and few (4-5 small crackers,I like Crunch Master Gluten Free or pretzels). Drizzle Jif Natural Peanut Butter over apple slices or banana. Fill a portion control snack size bag (100 calorie) with 1/4 cup mixed nuts or almonds and tablespoon of dark chocolate chips (or semi sweet). KIND Bars are great for quick picks if on the road. Hummus (even come in single serving cups) and cup of fresh veggies. (I get the large veggie tray in produce section and choose from it through the week and pull from it to add to a romaine lettuce based salad). Get a 20 oz bottle for water...become friends with that bottle, cause you should be filling it 3-4 times a day.
