Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed? For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comliness; and when we shall see him, THERE IS no beauty that we should desire him. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were OUR faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. They shall leave none of it unto the morning, nor break any bone of it: according to all the ordinances of the passover they shall keep it. He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither WAS ANY deceit in his mouth. Who IS this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this THAT IS glorious in his apparel, traveling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save. Wherefore ART THOU red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat? I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people THERE WAS none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment. For the day of vengeance IS in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come. And I looked and THERE WAS none to help; and I wondered that THERE WAS none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.
