Who remembers when the Lottery money was voted in to ENHANCE Florida Education? More of the money now goes to everything else but public schools and what does go to the schools is cut from the % of the Budget earmarked each year for the schools. Once again our Legislators have lied to the pubic. I had one legistlator tell me at a public function that NO WHERE in the bill did it say the money would ENHANCE education. Sorry Dorothy, but it does. The point of the Lottery is to give extra funding to Florida education, and it was mandated that a significant proportion of all revenue generated by ticket sales go to the Education Enhancement Trust Fund.
