Whoops! Robert Pattinson Breaks $10,000 Vintage Camera On The Set Of Life? The actor reportedly had a clumsy moment on the set of the James Dean biopic By Joanna Crawley on April 8, 2014 In the latest photos from the set of Robert Pattinsons new movie Life, the actor seems to be a natural at playing the role of a photographer, but according to on set gossip the Brit isnt exactly an expert at handling the very expensive cameras. Robert is currently hard at work shooting Life, a biopic about the magazine photographer assigned to photograph actor James Dean in 1955. Rob plays photographer Dennis Stock, with the actor spotted on set in Los Angeles last week, suited and booted and camera in hand. The actor kept a tight hold of his snazzy looking camera during the scenes shot at the Pantage Theatre in Hollywood, perhaps due to a reported incident earlier on set which allegedly saw Rob smash a pricey piece of equipment. According to Showbiz Spy, Robert let a vintage camera, worth $10,000, slip from his hands during shooting recently, with the prop smashing into pieces. Rob reportedly yelled “whoops!” as the camera fell to the floor and did his best to clean up the mess. Keeping a tight hold! Robert Pattinson on the set of Life (Splash News) “Rob quickly started scooping up the broken pieces, apologizing profusely,” a source claimed. “He was given another vintage camera, but this time the director made him wear a neck strap — and as soon as the scene ended, a prop person ran up and snatched back the antique!” In the recent scenes shot in Hollywood, the star can indeed be seen with a strap around his neck securing the camera in place, as he filmed with a media scrum at the Pantage. After recently shooting in Toronto, the cast and crew are currently moving around locations in LA with reports suggesting theyll be shooting at the famed celeb hangout Chateau Marmont. While the Twilight star takes on the role of Stock, Dane DeHaan plays Dean, with the actor also starring in the upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man 2 as the Green Goblin. Life also features acting heavyweight Sir Ben Kingsley alongside Kristen Hager and Alessandra Mastronardi, while Joel Edgerton has recently signed up too. entertainmentwise/news/145989/Whoops-Robert-Pattinson-Breaks-10000-Vintage-Camera-On-The-Set-Of-Life#3yPmpPrizTcZQwt5.99
