Why Grunt Style? This will be a long one... The term Grunt is used in reference to infantrymen. There are a few reasons why this term exists. Some say it comes from WW2 when infantry men were dying and being replaced at a rapid pace. G- General, R- Replacement, UNT- Untrained. Some say it comes from the grunting sounds made by Infantrymen while rucking heavy weight, advancing toward the enemy, or carrying other troops. Though the term may seem rough on the ears to some, it is worn as a badge of honor to the infantry. It is that spirit that we love to convey. Grunts get their hands dirty. Grunts believe in doing the tough jobs that no one else wants to do. Grunts believe in giving their lives to something that they firmly believe in. Thats something every American should be able to get behind. Take some lessons from the Grunts. Live your life with furious passion and be willing to die for something you love. DO PT.
