Why are Muslim very particular about time (eg prayer time etc) and discipline because the underlying maxim of Islamic life is organization. Islam lays special stress on the values and importance of organization, and insists that the life of every Muslim dynamically reflect, in every sphere of activity, the spirit of discipline and co-operation necessarily implies. Thus, for the Muslim, organization represents an essential factor which cannot be divorced from the life-programme without entailing the disintegration of Islam as an effectual body politic. In other words, in the absence of organization the Islamic norm of life becomes an impossibility.
