Why do parents especially black parents feel its OK to beat your children? And some of them have the nerve to put it on social Media! Now I know some will defend this type of discipline! So this is for that select few. The next time you go to beat your child, just imagine how you would feel if your husband, boyfriend, girlfriend or significant other or even the police for that matter, beat your ass every time you did something wrong! I hope you get my point. Beating your child promotes fear and low self esteem. It teaches your child to hit others and its a form of bullying and physical abuse. Slaves never got use to getting their ass whomped and neither will your child/children. All the fights and violence that we are witnessing on social media, 95% of those individuals are products of parents that hit their child/children!
