Why do some parents favor one child over the other? This is what were discussing today morning: A lady called in yesterday and explained that the husband hates her daughter who has sickle-cell anaemia. He is never there for her! In fact, he has told them to get out of his house right after their daughter sits the national exams ...says hes been patient enough with them and they should leave. Terrible! I could not believe my ears when I heard the story! What makes parents do this??? Why? Is there really a good reason? Is it understandable? Why should a parent should love one child and hate the other? Has this happened to you or to anyone you know? This is very painful.
