Why we should not play crackers during Diwali? Earlier there used to be campaign for safe crackers during Diwali which was great. But the same has now been replaced by campaign like No crackers. I think the auspicious festival of diwali is incomplete and unimaginable without crackers. I tried to visualize Diwali without any light and sound of crackers and I felt it wasnt a diwali day, but a diwala day!!! Many campaigners are using small kids to spread message like papa dont buy crackers for me. Some posters reads Wasteful, Harmful, Pointless! Why burn your money on crackers? My question is if this is so wasteful and harmful, were our forefathers so dumb and fool that they didt realize this for several centuries!!! Please dont spread and be a part of wrong campaign, knowingly or unknowingly. There are many many ways to protect mother Earth. Yes, accidents do happen while playing with crackers, but it is mostly due to careless attitude. But it doesnt mean say no to crackers. Do we ever support that because many people die or lose there limbs, etc during road accidents and due to high pollution, we should ban vehicles???
