Why would I be interested in the opinion of child rapists, who force women into essential slavery, blows up and destroys ancient cultural artifacts of their national history and throws acid on the faces of girls as they wish to attend school? Or how about blowing up those who are trying to provide security and stability in an otherwise lawless nation, or destroy roads built as a way to help develop national infrastructure? Claiming victory upon the shoulders of such cultural depravement is not a victory, but the ultimate commentary on ones resignation and inability to rise to what Afghanistan could be and by extension, admit their own defeat.
