Why your mom’s body will break down when she gets old……. Womb – for carrying you in the deepest part of herself for months. Breast – for losing a large portion of her body fluid to feed you for months. Arms – for carrying you day and night for years. She could not say no every time you cried or demanded to be held. Legs – for the number of times she went to the groceries and carried them back will be the cause of her having arthritis later, if not already. Lips - for repeating things...did you eat?, study!, and eat your vegetables or dont swallow the lego piece. Stomach – for eating too little because you wanted more and eating too much to eat your leftovers. Eyes – for her tears will wear down her eyelids, because your sadness, joy, presence and absence were the cause of her ceaseless tears. Eyes again – for blocking her vision, as you were always in front of whatever she was seeing after your birth. You were never out of her sight. Heart – for missing you and for always wanting more of your love.
