A: I dont think so, though we may become god-like in terms of powers and vision greater than that which earlier technological civilizations considered to be attributes of god(s). But the process of becoming greater than that which can be conceived - a definition that some theologians have proposed for God) is something that is never ending. As we discover new things we learn that there are new things to learn. The scientific method is in part based on the concept of falsifiability, i.e., all we hypothesize is in fact not demonstrably true, but potentially false. If it was otherwise we would have a dogmatic unchangeable position. Science thus suggests we will never become God, however god-like we become. (thanks for the link to Martin C.)
