William Dormaier was 35 when he joined the U.S. Army in 1943. He served during World War II with Battery A of the 226th Searchlight Battalion. Now, 71 years later, hes turning 106 and has applied for medical care with VA. It doesnt matter if it has been two years, two decades - or in Williams case, almost three-quarters of a century - since you left the military. It is never too late to seek care from VA.
