Wilma Lee Bryant, 81, of Flemingsburg, passed peacefully with her children at her side on Monday, June 16, 2014 at her home after a brief illness. Wilma was born March 15, 1933 in Rushville, IN the daughter of the late Rev. Earnest Harry & Zella Jackson Lee. Wilma’s family was her passion and delight. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Wilma was retired from Randall Textron after 34 years of service. She is survived by her children Larry (Connie) Bryant, Ricky Bryant, Karen (Danny) Carpenter and Joyce Fidler and Jeff Fidler all of Flemingsburg; grandchildren Jodi (Winston) Grannis, Chad (Sarah) Bryant, Rebekah Bryant, Jase Fidler, Jordan Fidler, Rebecca (Jamie) McGinnis, Trish (Chris) Kenney; Great Grandchildren J.D. McGinnis, Lauren McGinnis and two special great grandchildren; sisters Mary Simmons of Phoenix, AZ, Mabel Hall of Enon, OH, Betty (Hobert) Griffith of South Shore, KY, Lois (Dwight) Johnson, of Russell KY, Kay (Charles) Spurrier, of Lapel, IN,; brother Bill (Shirley) Lee of Marion, IN; She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband Johnny Bryant, brother’s Wayne Lee and Donnie Lee and a sister Bonnie Lee. Funeral services will be at 2 PM Friday June 20, 2014 at Boone – Nickell Funeral Home with Wilma’s nephew Christopher Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Fleming County Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 – 9 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Larry Bryant, Ricky Bryant, Chad Bryant, Jase Fidler Jeff Fidler, Danny Carpenter, Winston Grannis, and J.D. McGinnis will serve has pallbearers. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Hope or Hayswood Home Health. Friends may sign the guestbook at boonenickellfuneralhome
