Winding down my road trip. Spending tonight in Midland, Texas before heading to Tucson tomorrow. I made the mistake of turning on the TV. I got to hear our self proclaimed Constitutional expert in the White House lecture Congress about their lack of action forcing him to go it alone. His words were rather extraordinary. He has learned nothing from the multiple smack downs SCOTUS has issued. According to our expert, the humanitarian crisis in Texas will force him to change immigration law unilaterally. He conveniently forgot to mention that his unilateral policy changes are what prompted the crisis. I think the mess he has created in Texas may wake up a large portion of the populace. Friends of mine on the ground there tell me that the preventable crisis is reaching epic proportions...
