Wish me luck! Racing starts tomorrow with a 1 run race to determine the starting position for the race on Friday! Sounds silly to have a race before the race but its important for a few reasons. Being first off the handles is a huge advantage compared to being last off, especially when its above zero or snowing. The track will gradually become slower throughout the race giving you a disadvantage if youre towards the back end of the start list. The second reason is more of a personal one where I get to practice before the actually race in my race gear.
