Wish people stop moaning at me for wanting for nothing at Christmas! Jeez I consider myself lucky! So, whats wrong with asking for charity donations instead of gifts? To me a charity donation is a gift - Christmas is the time for giving - it doesnt necessarily have to be to people you know, people who sleep in a decent bed, in a house thats not falling apart after eating a nice dinner with parents that werent drug addicts or murderers... Is it because you want to see the gratitude on my face? Want to see me wear whatever it is, use it etc? If you give to charity who knows wholl get that money? Maybe someone will get the counselling they need after being raped and beaten by their partner, Maybe someone will be given support following a miscarriage, maybe well get closer to beating cancer, Maybe a child will get a meal after escaping abuse... But its okay, when you give me a gift after I said charity youll get to see my gratitude and you can pretend that its all that matters...
