With a glass of wine in my hand on a Friday night Im reading the Benalla Show program trying to motivate myself to go wash a horse.. an inner voice is saying, its been a busy few weeks and I really need a catch-up day at home.. and I shouldnt wear unwashed joddies to a 3rd show.. I then I get a call from my 90yo grandmother.. Will you take Maureen (her friend) and I to a clearing sale tomorrow? halleluiah..!! a sign from god I dont have to go to the show tomorrow!!! She then says great, pick me up at 8am sharp at my front gate.. 8am!! 8am!!! (I might as well go to the show.. but Ive already said yes to a 90yo..?? dillemma)...then she says we should be home by 2pm and empty your ute incase we buy something 2pm.. 2pm!! Thats 6 hours!!!! AND at 90, what could she possibly need from a clearing sale??? ..but Im sure appreciating my 2nd wine now! Ill be ready for Rutherglen on Sunday!
