With a selfishly heavy heart, I am writing that the one woman who has traveled this journey and been my personal strength since prior to the Dominican Republic, all the way back to Ghana, West Africa when she supported my aide work there and even prior, to Port Clinton Schools, has completed her Journey. Our founding member Julie Quayle passed away this weekend. I feel blessed as I saw her within the past month. Some of you also were blessed to hear her speak at the Port Clinton Rotary Club recently. Julies passing leaves a large void for Port Clinton, for St. Thomas Episcopal Church, for Strength for the Journey, and for the world. She was a good human being, a smart woman, a cherished teacher and friend to many. I dont know how we will go on without her, but we will. Godspeed, Julie. Know how much you were loved. Fly with the angels. You earned your wings.
